Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:

Jordan is an Arab country in Southwest Asia. It shares borders with Syria, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Much of Jordan is covered by desert. Jordan's capital city is Amman. The climate in Jordan is semi-dry in the Summer and relatively cold in the Winter. The population consists of 92% Muslims and 6% Christians. Jordan has many historic and touristic sites that attracts lots of tourists.
