Something Unique About Me:

I have been teaching art in Glastonbury for 18 years. This is the third school that I have worked in. Nayaug School has only been open for two years. It is a brand new school and we have a beautiful art studio. I love teaching and art is my passion. I love to paint but also do work in mixed media.

Brief Description of My Students:

The class that will be involved in the cultural exchange are 4th grade pupils from Ms. Cassarino's class. There are twenty-three students in the class,eleven girls and twelve boys. They are very excited about this project and are eager to get started!

Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:

South Glastonbury is a suburban/rural area of the town of Glastonbury. There are many lovely neighborhoods here and much farm and orchard land. Nayaug means "noisy water." Our school is located close to the beautiful and winding Connecticut River.
