- Something Unique About Me:
- My favorite thing to do is travel! I love to interact with people, learn about different cultures, history, and explore the unique ecosystems around the world. As a scuba diver, I even get to explore the underwater universe. Two summers ago I was the lucky recipient of a Lilly Grant, and I was able to spend over two weeks in Ecuador, exploring Quito, touring the Galapagos Islands, and hiking in the Amazon.

- Brief Description of My Students:
- I have 29 wonderful 10 and 11-year-olds in my classroom. They enjoy sports, music, movies, and video games. They are at the end of their elementary years and are preparing to move on to middle school. They enjoy learning about other cultures, and are excited to receive art from our partner class.
- Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:
- Valparaiso is an upper middle class neighborhood about an hour outside of Chicago. There are many parks and lakes here, and our geographical location assures that we strongly receive all four seasons.
